The project is the first Phase of the larger 8 Phase Bayfront Redevelopment project, which is expected to bring over 8,000 units as well as retail, public park space, waterfront activities and a light rail station, giving access to The PATH train to Manhattan.
BRP is proposing four new buildings, 13-stories each, encompassing 1.7M SF of mixed income and mixed-use development with 1,460 units, 35% of which will be dedicated as affordable, a charter-school, superior amenities, retail, outdoor park space and resident parking.
Phase 1 will consist of 2 parcels, with 763 total units and 880,000 SF of mixed income development.
Phase 2 will consist of the final 2 parcels with 762 total units and 849,000 SF of mixed income development.
